I transferred to Auburn University as a sophomore in the fall of 2014. The past three and a half years have been a blessing. Ranked as one of the top 50 public universities for more than 20 years, Auburn has provided me with hands-on opportunities that have enabled me to master the skills need to succeed in the world of public relations and marketing.
This course covered various public relations case studies. We analyzed what was successful or unsuccessful about each case and how the company could have better handled the situation.
In this course we learned how to plan, write and execute different public relations media. We developed a media kit for a fictional client which you can view in my portfolio.
This course taught us how to conduct formal research. Groups were assigned to local clients. We listened to the client’s needs and conducted a survey using Qualtrics and presented the findings in a final report. You can find my final report in the portfolio.
This course focused on campaign aspects such as goals, objectives, strategies and tactics. Groups were partnered with Fox Sports and were assigned to come up with campaign ideas to add to Verizon’s contract with Auburn Athletics. You can find my groups campaign in my portfolio.
In this course, we looked at how public relations is practiced globally. We compared how public relations is conducted in various countries to how it is practiced in the United States.
This is the course I created my digital resume and portfolio in. We focused on the fundamentals of HTML5, CSS3 and Adobe Creative Suite.
