From August 2017 to December 2017 I worked with Fox Sports University and the Auburn Athletics Department. This experience was through the Auburn University class “Public Relations Campaigns.” We were split into teams and came up with campaign parameters for Verizon’s contract with the Auburn Athletics Department.
Although this experience was through a class, I learned how to conduct a campaign for major companies and brands. You can see my team’s work in my portfolio under the section “campaigns.”
From May 2017 to August 2017 I served as the development and events intern for the National Infantry Foundation located in Columbus, Georgia. During this internship, I assisted the development creating content for social media posts and blogs, and assisted with the planning of the Global War on Terrorism Campaign Memorial. I also actively participated in campaign development committee for all marketing initiatives and events.
From January 2017 to May 2017 I served as a social media intern for Lee County Humane Society in Auburn, Alabama. My responsibilities during this internship included creating social media posts through Hootsuite, a social media management site, and analyzing current social media efforts.
From 2013 to 2017 I worked in the customer service industry for three different retailers. These retailers include Toys “R” Us, Office Depot and JcPenney. During my time in customer service, I worked in fast paced environments assisting different teams in meeting goals and quotas for corporate. These retailers utilized teamwork, communication and time management skills. These experiences also provided me with the skill of creating problem solving to meet the customer needs and expectations.
